About Danēta

I am a Real Estate Professional and Property Manager.  I have 20 years’ experience in the Real Estate Industry, along with 10 years of property management experience & knowledge.

I moved to Las Vegas from Hawaii in 1984 to attend the University Nevada of Las Vegas and received my BS in Management. 

I have raised 5 children as a single parent. I currently have 5 grandchildren with one more on the way, what a joy!  

Las Vegas is a beautiful community with many parks, churches, large & small master planned communities.

It is also known as the Entertainment Capital of the World. With beautiful resorts, gaming, professional sports to famous restaurants. 

Vegas also offers family suburb with indoor and outdoor recreation, with plenty of sunshine!

The temperature ranges from 40 degrees to a high of 115.  Summer heat ranges from June to August and the extreme colds from December to March.

My real estate career was launched in 2003 as an agent with the #1 RE office in the world. 

I am knowledgeable in handling all aspects of real estate. Both sellers and buyers appreciate the Streamlined system, my knowledge with investors and REO’s.

My expertise is in contract negotiation and I get the deal done with integrity and a “Win-Win” objective.

When the crash hit Las Vegas in 2007/08, I gained expertise in the foreclosure business by working with national banks and sold 40 to 50 properties per month.  Once things leveled off, I helped my investors rebuild their investment portfolio.  At that point, I obtained my Property Management license and started assisting my investors with managing their rental properties making it stress free!

Over the last 20 years I have worked with large Real Estate Franchises including Century 21, Remax, and Keller Williams.  I have ranked the top 10% in sales and named Top Producing Agent. I have served as a member of the Leadership Council and served at the Real Estate Division on the Board of the Property Management Committee.

I am affiliated with women in real estate networking groups and volunteer my personal time helping to raise funds in support of women working towards returning to the work force. I enjoy travel, I am a huge foodie, support local Hawaiian festivals, enjoy my family, gardening and working out.

Buying vs. Renting

There are many reasons why buying makes more sense than renting. However here are some reasons:

  • Its your home & you can make changes to it as you feel.
  • Your rent(mortgage) can’t increase.
  • Your landlord may not renew your lease & you will need to move.
  • Slum landlords that don’t repair the home.

The 2 Most Important Reasons Are:

  • Why pay for the owner’s mortgage & build their investment equity. Build your own equity & wealth.
  • It’s the only tax write off that individuals have today.
